About The Role
Responsibilities
As a Student mentor, you will be expected to:
- Engage with students in lessons weekly.
- Follow-up with mentees weekly.
- Provide monthly feedback to mentees, including assessments.
- Aim for prompt response times, particularly during evenings and weekends.
- Provide quality answers and guidance, working through problems with mentees.
- Meet deadlines and maintain high-quality interactions.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate for this role:
- Achieved grade 9/8 in GCSE Biology and grade A/A* in A-Level Biology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students.
- Passionate about student achievement.
- Preferably with some teaching experience in Biology.
- Committed, flexible, willing to learn, and on track for or have achieved a 2:1 or above in their degree.
