2024-25 exam results round-up
This year’s exam results are in and our students absolutely smashed it.
The headline figures are impressive:
-
MyEdSpace students achieved triple the national average of GCSE grade 9 results
-
Over half of our GCSE Maths grades were 7-9 (51%) - also triple the national average
-
Compared against non-MyEdSpace students, double the numbers of MyEdSpace A Level Physics students achieved an A or A* (67%), compared to the national figure of only 32%
-
Almost twice as many of our Biology grades achieved A or A* (45%), nationwide it was 28%
-
Over half of our A Level students have been admitted into Russell Groups universities (55%) compared to only 27% across the UK
With results like this, it is easy to see why we were named ‘Best Online School 2025’ and ‘Homeschooling Product of the Year 2025/2026’.
Behind those numbers are the people who have worked hard to achieve their full potential.
People like Jayden who was predicted 6’s across the board at GCSE and by his own admission: “found revision kind of tough”.
He joined MyEdSpace in September last year, and in his own words: “It began quite slowly and begrudgingly. But over time I learned to love it, especially with the MyEdSpace teachers. It became enjoyable.
The way they taught was really helpful. Some subjects I didn't get in class, they'll go over it in their lessons. So it really helped build upon the lessons and just give me clarity.
Laura was my favorite teacher because the way she explained most things, especially my biology, my hardest subject, it was really clear, and I understand everything.
I felt more confident answering the questions in the exams knowing that I've revised a lot, put in my time and effort into revising and the MyEdSpace work.
I ended up getting 8s and 9s, which was really a good result for me.
It [MyEdSpace] is like an investment in your future because you pay now to help you get better grades in the future. So, it's basically investing in your future to get where you want to be."
“Stories and experiences like Jayden’s are exactly why we started MyEdSpace”, explains co-founder Sean Hirons. “Like Jayden, I was OK at school, but I wasn’t fulfilling my potential. That is until I changed schools and got access to some of the most talented teachers. That was a game changer for my life, and I went on to achieve top A Level grades and earn a place at the London School of Economics, and opening doors I never thought possible.
I’m so proud to be able to give that same access and environment change for thousands of other kids around the country, no matter their postcode or family income”.
Over the years, we have supported over 16,000 students in reaching their full potential - and we’re not stopping there.
The new year is up and running, but it’s not too late to sign up and see the effects of a MyEdSpace education for yourself. Every lesson is recorded and available on-demand, so no matter when a student joins us, they have access to everything they need to ensure this year counts.
