MME Revise vs MyEdSpace: a side-by-side comparison

Comparing MyEdSpace and MME Revise

24.09.2026

Both MME Revise and MyEdSpace help students prepare for their exams - but the two work in quite different ways.

MME Revise is best known for MME Premium, a self-paced online revision platform where students work through GCSE courses, practice questions and past papers independently. Alongside this, MME also offers a separate paid tuition service, called ‘MME Tuition’, where students book 1-to-1 or small-group live lessons with a tutor.

MyEdSpace, on the other hand, employs specialist English, Maths and Science teachers - people with years of experience and a proven track record of helping students achieve their full potential. With MyEdSpace, students learn in live, online, interactive, group lessons, following a structured weekly timetable, with courses guiding kids from Year 5 all the way through to their A-levels.

To help you compare the two and decide which would work best for you or your family, here's a side-by-side look at what each offers.

While those are the headlines, here's a detailed look at what MME Revise and MyEdSpace offer.

What is MME Revise?

MME Revise is actually two separate products bundled under one name; MME Premium and MME Tuition.

It is probably best known for MME Premium, which is their self-paced online GCSE course platform. Customers get access to 22x GCSE courses across Maths, English Language and Combined or Triple Science, matched to specific exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC and Cambridge iGCSE. Each course includes topic videos and notes, practice questions, past papers that can be sat online under timed conditions, and AI-marked feedback on Science and English long-answer questions. There's also a free tier with limited access to the same 22 courses. There’s no live teacher and students use the platform for self-study.

Separately, MME also offers live tutoring through MME Tuition, which works more like a traditional tutoring marketplace. Tutors are DBS-checked by the platform and described as qualified and experienced. Lessons are booked and paid for individually, from around £20 for a small group session up to roughly £35 for a 1-to-1 lesson, with no set weekly timetable.

Beyond these two products, MME also sells physical and digital revision materials directly, including predicted papers, revision guides and revision cards, aimed at independent learners, resit students and schools.

What is MyEdSpace?What is MyEdSpace?

At the core of MyEdSpace is live teaching with expert, subject-specialist teachers in two lessons a week, per subject. Both daytime and evening timetables are available to cater to both home educated and school-attending students.

Courses run right through, from Year 5 through to Year 13, spanning Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, GCSEs and A-levels. On top of the core subject courses, there's dedicated preparation for the 11+ and the UCAT, along with GCSE and A-level Exam Masterclasses, and school-holiday intensives through Summer School and Easter Revision.

Every lesson happens live, but without cameras or microphones on. That's a deliberate choice: students take part through chat instead, which removes the pressure of being watched or put on the spot, while still keeping the energy and back-and-forth of a real classroom. It's an approach that tends to draw out more questions, not fewer, since nobody has to worry about how they look or sound while asking one.

Over 26,000 students have now been taught on MyEdSpace, and this summer's results back up what that live teaching does. MyEdSpace GCSE students achieved double the national rate of grade 9s (12% versus 5%), and more than twice as many hit grades 7-9 overall (45% versus 22% nationally). At A-level, three in four MyEdSpace students achieved a B or above (75%), compared with 61% nationally.MyEdSpace GCSE students achieved double the national rate of grade 9s (12% versus 5%), and more than twice as many hit grades 7-9 overall (45% versus 22% nationally). Every piece of content, from the live lessons themselves to the workbooks and video explanations, is built by qualified teachers and former examiners, never generated by an algorithm. Lessons are recorded as they happen, so a missed session or a topic that needs revisiting is never out of reach.

And the full library of exam-board-matched resources, revision notes, explanation videos and practice questions across GCSE and A-level is free to use, whether or not a family goes on to sign up for live lessons.

Which is better: MME Revise or MyEdSpace?

There isn't a single right answer here because every student learns differently and will have different needs.

MME Premium suits a particular kind of student well: someone who's already fairly self-directed, wants a large, exam-board-matched bank of questions and past papers to hammer through independently, and doesn't need a teacher explaining things as they go. Add MME Tuition on top, and there's also a pay-as-you-go route to live 1-to-1 or small-group help, though that's booked and charged separately from the practice platform.

MyEdSpace takes a different starting point. Instead of independent practice with occasional bought-in tutoring, it puts a real, experienced teacher in front of your child twice a week, every week, for the whole course, with the workbooks, study aids, practice questions and recordings all built around the curriculum and the exams they’ll face.

Plenty of families end up using both approaches for different things: MME Premium's question bank for independent drilling, MyEdSpace for the structured teaching and weekly accountability that keeps a whole year on track. Nobody knows your child's learning style better than you do, so it's worth weighing up whether they need more independent practice, more live teaching, or a bit of both.

For a child who does best with a consistent teacher, a fixed weekly rhythm, and someone to actually ask when they're stuck, that's exactly what MyEdSpace is designed around.

Try before you buy
