About The Role

Who we're looking for

We are looking for an outstanding English Teacher to become our next full-time teacher at MyEdSpace. You will be a leading face of the company - you will be responsible for designing a complete curriculum and delivering high-quality English lessons to students via interactive live streams. You will be expected to help our team attract potential students to your courses via social media and other channels.
This position is a full-time position. We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual - we will treat you like a leader in the company where you have a direct impact on the growth and overall strategy. We want someone who is excited about changing environments, from a traditional teaching environment to a startup. You need to be passionate about making a positive impact on a much larger scale and truly love your subject. As an English Teacher, you will be expected to:

Plan and deliver engaging and interactive online lessons via live streams - interact with your class and answer questions as they arise
Prepare all necessary materials to deliver your course, including lesson presentations, homeworks, video-solutions to your homeworks etc
You will be responsible for the ongoing creation of short-form educational content on your subject that can be used across social-media platforms to attract students
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to produce creative campaigns that can be used for advertising
Interact with students / their parents in order to better understand our customers, sell to potential leads, and provide feedback to help improve our product offering
Complete ad-hoc tasks as directed by our Co-Founder’s to drive company initiatives

The ideal candidate for this role:

Qualified to degree level or above in English, or a closely related subject - achieved top grades, both at University and at A-level
1+ year of teaching experience - preferably with some experience teaching online classes
Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach both GCSE and A-level English
Willingness to develop your own personal brand on social media - we will help you and give you the tools necessary to succeed but you have to be comfortable with the idea of being turned into a micro-influencer
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
Someone who wants to grow with MyEdSpace and build a business that can really change the education landscape in the UK
